Fiber Built Sensor Mat and Frame fully assembled with built-in electronics
-GSA Sensor Mats feature a massive solid acrylic glass 1/2 inch thick plate to protect the internal electronics.
The construction is so sturdy you can drive a 10 ton truck over it.
When you consider that the force of a club on the mat can be as high as 4000 pounds per square inch,
you'll appreciate the need for a very strongly constructed product that can withstand these forces if it is to last.
The GSA Pro Mat features FiberBuilt true feel grass mat panels.

Advanced mathmatical algorithms in the software calculate (not measure) ball spin and spin axis tilt
from the club-face angle, club path, loft and velocity which determines the ball flight curve
ie. draws, fades, hooks and slices.

Camera Vertical launch angle monitor
Your system will really come to life with the camera Vertical ball launch angle monitor.
Without it, the system will use the selected club loft as the launch angle which will only be accurate if striking the ball square.
Most will be striking on the up or down swing and thus the launch angle will be quite different from the club loft.
Using the vertical launch monitor allows you to not only see what your launch angle really is
but also allows you to play the shot with decidedly more command, shape and accuracy.
It also eliminates the requirement to either use the system selected club or manually selecting a club in the system.
The camera requires a trigger which is either hardware generated from a ball track or from the sensor mat.
The vertical launch camera can be added to either the stand alone sensor mat or a ball track.
Note: In addition to the ball launch angle, the true ball speed is also measured with the vertical camera.

VX Vertical launch angle sensor
The VX Vertical Launch Angle sensor uses a triangulation IR Beam method of measuring ball vertical launch angle.
The sensor's high speed ADC (Analog Digital Converter) is capable of capturing 800 samples of a ball travelling at 170 mph.
The device is embedded in a fairway extension panel of the sensor mat and features a USB connector to the PC.
